Nourishing the Body as a Temple of the Holy Spirit

Care for the body is part of spiritual responsibility.

In 1 Corinthians 6:19โ€“20, Saint Paul teaches that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. This truth shapes daily habits, including nutrition.

Nourishment is not vanity. It is stewardship.

To nourish the body with intention:

1. Choose Foods That Sustain
Select whole, balanced meals that support energy and clarity.

2. Practice Moderation
Avoid excess in both quantity and frequency.

3. Maintain Hydration
Water supports mental and physical function.

4. Rest and Recovery
Sleep and rest are part of care.

5. Combine Nutrition with Prayer
Thank God for strength and ask for discipline.

When the body is cared for, attention improves. Energy becomes steady. Discipline grows.

Stewardship honors the Creator. Daily nourishment becomes an act of responsibility and gratitude.

Balanced nutrition supports long-term health and stability.

Stewardship includes both restraint and proper nourishment.

  • Eat one balanced meal with intention.
  • Drink enough water throughout the day.
  • Offer a short prayer of thanks for your health.
